Baldwin-110.jpg

We rode the 1880 train (Black Hills Central Railroad) from Hill City to Keystone and return. Engine 110 was built in 1928 by Baldwin and it is an articulated 2-6-6-2 T Mallet. The engine was built originally for the Weyhauser Lumber Company in Washington State. It was then sold to Rayonier Lumber Company, then to the Heber Valley Railroad, then finally to the state of Nevada.
