Bluewater Lake State Park

Exit 63 - I-40 - Near Prewitt, New Mexico An okay SP - on a fairly large lake. This is a crazy place on the weekends. Recommend weekday use only in the summer. We were in site #1 which is closest to the community water faucet. Overall, kind of a run-down park but at least the elevation (7300') is good for a little cooler temperatures (~80 degrees June 16, 2008) in the summer
