The end of the 60 mile road. There is a footbridge to cross over the river and walk to McCarthy (or there is a shuttle van.) There are a few vehicles on the other side - they used to cross over when the river was frozen but I understand there is now a private bridge. The locals do not want that to be general knowledge because they only want a few vehicles to contend with. We walked to McCarthy (10-15 minutes) and bought a shuttle ticket to ride the 3.5 miles up to the mines and back
