Evaporator blower
This opening mates with the duct work. When the liquid freon is pumped through an expansion valve, it changes from a liquid to a vapor (gas) and circulates through the evaporator coil. The blower sucks air from the coach through the evaporator and heat is removed in the process. The freon returns back to the compressor as a vapor and the cycle repeats
