2011 Tour 42QD sneak peak - cherry interior

I crawl all over and around this one! I had a chance to talk to an owner of the 42QD (who had 1800 miles on his new coach) while we were in Forest City recently for service and asked him how he liked it. When I found out he traded in a 2005 Horizon 40AD (our exact coach) for the 42 QD I was really interested to find out what he thought about the two coaches. In summary, the turning radius of the QD isn't nearly as tight as the Vectra/Horizon on the Evolution chassis. He thought at first the ride was a little stiffer, but after a few hundred miles it didn't seem to be significant (guess he adapted to the different ride.) He thought the slides were too deep - you have a much reduced walking aisle and limited access when the slides are retracted. He did like having a straight axle front end because he thought the IFS front suspension would require more maintenance in the long term (don't think I buy into that proclamation.)
