I made several guesses about dimensions which seemed to turn out about right since I made mine larger than Norm's I used 3" non-marking casters which seems to be considerably smaller than Norm's design, but they seem plenty adequate for the task and it rolls around very easily. I sized my copy of the workbench to use the entire sheet of MDF. Norm used 1/2" MDF but I liked the rigidity of the 3/4" stock
